Langston Fishburne is an American actor and ballet dancer. He appeared in the film Ant-Man and the Wasp .

He is the son of casting director Hajna O. Moss and actor, playwright, producer, screenwriter, and film director Laurence Fishburne .

Langston’s biological paternal grandfather was William Seigel Bohannan (the son of Murvin Hilliard Bohannan and Loretta Constance Sandridge). William was born in Chicago, Illinois. Murvin was born in Macon, Bibb, Georgia, the son of Herbert H. Bohannon and Covie Reagan. Loretta was born in Dayton, Montgomery, Ohio, the daughter of William G. Sandridge and Yetta Geneva Williams. Loretta’s father, Langston’s great-great-great-grandfather, Paul A. Sandridge, was born into slavery, the son of Lucy Carpenter. Paul and Lucy were owned by Ethan Carpenter, who willed his slaves freed upon his death. Langston’s father Laurence’s legal father was Laurence John Fishburne, a juvenile corrections officer. He found out in his late 40s that Laurence John Fishburne was not his biological father. On the show Finding Your Roots, with Henry Louis Gates, Jr. (2025), Langston’s father discovered that his biological father was William Seigel Bohannan, who worked for the railway, and who had died in 2017.

Langston’s paternal grandmother was Hattie Bell Crawford (the daughter of Jesse Crawford and Clarise Youngblood). Hattie was born in Georgia, a mathematics and science teacher. Clarise was born in Waynesboro East, Georgia, the daughter of Eliza Youngblood and Mahalia.

Langston’s maternal grandfather was Charles Edward Moss (the son of Bruce Stanley Bethell and Leonora Louisetta Lola Moss). Charles was born in Nassau, Bahamas. Bruce was the son of Walter Ferdinand Bethell and Emma Olivia Frances McPherson, who was born in Jamaica, of Bahamian descent. Leonora was the daughter of William A. Moss and Clara Clemantine Toote.

Langston’s maternal grandmother was Eldica Theresa Austin (the daughter of Charles Edward Austin and Pearline Zephornia Deveaux). Eldica was born in Nassau, Bahamas. Charles was born in Trinidad and Tobago, the son of James Austin. Pearline was the daughter of Simeon Colonel Deveaux.

A DNA test whose results were displayed on the show Finding Your Roots with Henry Louis Gates, Jr. (2025) stated that Langston’s father Laurence’s genetic ancestry consists of:
