Lara Raj, also known as Lara, is an American singer. She is a member of global girl group Katseye, formed by reality show The Debut: Dream Academy in 2023; Katseye officially debuted in June 2024. The other members of the group are Daniela , Manon , Megan , Sophia , and Yoonchae .
Lara was born in Los Angeles, to Tamil parents, Kavita Kuppuswamy Raj and Sri Rajagopalan, a businessperson. Her father is said to be Sri Lankan. Her mother is from India. Her sister is singer and songwriter Rhea Raj. She grew up in California, Texas, and New York City, New York.
