Laura Bretan is a Romanian-American soprano. She won the sixth season of Romania’s Got Talent , and then placed sixth on the eleventh season of America’s Got Talent , both in 2016. In 2018, she came second in Selecția Națională , the Romanian national final for Eurovision 2018.
Her parents, Rahela and Petru Bratan, are Romanian immigrants. Their photo can be seen here . She holds dual citizenship with Romania and the U.S.
