Leslie Jordan was an American actor, comedian, writer, and singer. His roles included the shows Hearts Afire , Will & Grace , American Horror Story , The Cool Kids , and Call Me Kat , and the films Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday , Sordid Lives , Home on the Range (2004), in voice performance; Demonic Toys 2 , and The United States vs. Billie Holiday . He wrote the play Lost in the Pershing Point Hotel and its film adaptation. He is 4′11″.
Leslie was the son of Peggy Ann and Allen Bernard Jordan, a major in the U.S. Army Reserve, who died in 1967 during the crash of a Beechcraft Debonair airplane at Camp Shelby. He was raised in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Leslie’s paternal grandfather was Mack Neily/Neilly Jordan (the son of Jesse Brooksher/Brookes Jordan and Catherine Elizabeth Minnis). Mack was born in Tennessee. Catherine was the daughter of James Crawford Minnis and Mary Ann Thompson.
