Liam Aiken is an American actor. Beginning in big-budget Hollywood productions and continuing into indie film, he is known for his roles in the films Henry Fool , Stepmom , I Dreamed of Africa , Sweet November , Road to Perdition , Good Boy! , Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events , Fay Grim , The Killer Inside Me , Electrick Children , Girls Against Boys , Nor’easter , How to Be a Man , Ned Rifle , The Frontier (2015), Weepah Way for Now , The Honor Farm , The Bloodhound , and Bashira , and the short film Munchausen .

His father, Bill Aiken, an MTV producer, was an American, of Irish, and small amounts of English and German, descent. His mother, Moya, was born in Ireland.

Liam’s paternal grandfather was John Edwin Aiken (the son of John Edwin/Edward Aiken and Annette/Anna Marie Conway). Liam’s grandfather John was born in Connecticut. Liam’s great-grandfather John was born in North Carolina, and was the son of Alfred Mitchell Aiken and Anne Catherine “Orrie” Ensley. Annette was born in Connecticut.

Liam’s paternal grandmother was Rita Ammon (the daughter of William Joseph Ammon and Mary Catherine Lavin). Rita was born in Connecticut. William was born in Pennsylvania, the son of William Ammon, whose father was either German or Irish, and of Rose Coyle, whose parents were Irish. Mary Catherine was born in County Cork, Ireland.
