Lihi Kornowski (ליהי קורנובסקי) is an Israeli model, actress, and musician. Her roles include the films Sublet (2020), Crimes of the Future (2022), and Krav Avir ; and the series False Flag , Losing Alice , and We Were the Lucky Ones .
When she was sixteen, her family moved to Givatayim. She is married to actor Roy Nik (born Roy Nikfahama), with whom she has a son.
Lihi’s paternal grandfather was Paul Kor/Core/Kornowski (the son of Yitzhak Yosef Kornowski and Chaja Helene Giske). Paul was born in Paris, France, to Polish Jewish parents. He was a painter, graphic designer, and children’s author and illustrator. He was smuggled to Geneva, Switzerland, during WWII, along with his brother, in order to escape the Nazis. Lihi’s great-grandfather Yitzhak was born in Łask, Łódź Voivodeship, the son of Idel Karnowski and Sara Borowski. He was killed in the Holocaust in Auschwitz, in 1942.
Lihi’s paternal grandmother was named Pnina Tovbin (the daughter of Dov Pinchas Tovbain and Hinda). Dov was born in Shepetivka, Khmelnytskyi Oblast, Ukraine, the son of Jakow Szya Tovbain. Hinda was the daughter of Israel.
Lihi’s maternal grandfather’s surname was Yaron.
She is said to have Sephardi ancestry from Tunisia. It is not clear if this is accurate.
