Lily Cowles is an American actress. Her roles include the series BrainDead and Roswell, New Mexico ; the films Antebellum (2020) and Albany Road ; and the video games Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War , Call of Duty: Mobile , Immortals of Aveum , and Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 .
She is the daughter of actors Matthew Cowles and Christine Baranski .
Lily’s paternal grandfather was actor and theatre producer Chandler Ruel Cowles (the son of Walter Ruel Cowles and Elfrida Schofield). Walter was the son of Frederick Leonard Cowles and Isabel Warner. Elfrida was born in New York, to Dutch parents.
Lily’s paternal grandfather was Katherine Drexel Henry (the daughter of William Seton Henry and Josephine Wharton Drexel). William was the son of Guy Vernor Henry, a military officer who served as an early Governor of Puerto Rico; and of Julia Mary Faulkner McNair. Josephine was the daughter of Joseph William Drexel, whose father was Austrian, and of Lucy Wharton.
Lily’s maternal grandfather was Lucien/Lucian/Lucius/Lucyjan Michael Baranski, an editor of a Polish-language newspaper (the son of Wladyslaw “Walter” Baranski and Janina Lewandowski). Lucien was born in New York. Wladyslaw was born in Warsaw, Poland. Lily’s great-grandmother Janina was born in New York, to Polish parents, Wladyslaw “Walter” Lewandowski and Prakseda.
Lily’s maternal grandmother was Virginia Otylija Mazurowski (the daughter of Frank S. Mazurowski and Stella/Estelle Pachuka/Pachucki). Virginia was born in New York. Frank was born in New York, to Polish parents, Frank/Francis/Franciszek Mazurowski and Marcell/Marcyanna/Marcy/Mary Anne Cwiklinski. Lily’s great-grandmother Stella was either a Polish immigrant, or was also born in New York, also to Polish parents.
