Linden Ashby is an American actor and director. He is known for his roles in the films 8 Seconds , Wyatt Earp (1994), Mortal Kombat (1995), and Prom Night (2008), and on the series Melrose Place and Teen Wolf .
He is the son of Eleanor, a civic organizer, and Clarence Linden Garnett Ashby, Jr., a pharmaceuticals manufacturer. He is married to actress and model Susan Walters, with whom he has two children.
Linden’s paternal grandfather was Clarence Linden Garnett Ashby (the son of The Rev. Charles Aylett Ashby and Evelyn Willis Garnett). Clarence was born in Newport News, Virginia. The Rev. Charles was born in Catalpa, Virginia, the son of William Aylett Ashby and Eleanor Pearson “Nellie” Alcocke. Evelyn was born in West Virginia, the daughter of Clarence Linden Garnett and Mary Wilson.
