Lisa Barlow is an American reality television personality and businessperson. She is known for starring on reality show the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City . She co-owns Vida Tequila with her husband John Barlow.
Lisa is the daughter of Cynthia Jean and David H. Lee. She was raised in upstate New York, where she has deep roots, tracing back to early settlers in the 1600s. She attended high school in Rotterdam, NY.
Lisa is a member of the LDS (Mormon) church. She met her husband John on an LDS mission. The couple has two children.
She has occasionally stated that she has Jewish heritage, though no Jewish ancestry appears on her family tree. Her statements include, “we pay homage to the holy land and my Jewish roots.” When asked which Jewish roots she referred to, she said:

Lisa’s paternal grandfather was Franklin George Lee (the son of George Clinton Lee and Lydia Wright Newbury). Franklin was born in Ballston Spa, New York. George was born in Saratoga Springs, New York, the son of Peter Edgar Towne and Carolina Steenburgh. He was of English, and some Dutch, ancestry. George was raised by his aunt, and took the surname Lee of her husband. Lisa’s great-grandmother Lydia was born in Ballston Spa, of English and Dutch descent, the daughter of Walter George Newbury and Fannie Humphrey.
Lisa’s paternal grandmother was Sara Joyce Osborn (the daughter of John Sidney Osborn and Lottie Rose Albertson). Sara was born in Ballston Spa, New York. John was born in Providence, New York, the son of Aaron Homer Osborn, who had English ancestry; and of Fannie Street, whose parents were Swiss. Lisa’s maternal grandmother was Kathleen Kennedy (the daughter of Leo Kennedy and Gertrude May Houghton). Kathleen was born in Schoharie, New York.
