He was born in The Hague, Netherlands, and raised in Prato, Tuscany, Italy. His father is Dutch actor Jasper de Moor. His mother is an Italian costume designer. His aunt is actress Martine de Moor, and his cousin, Martine’s son, is actor Kay Greidanus.
Lorenzo’s paternal grandfather was actor Guido de Moor (Guido Anthony Christiaan de Moor, the son of Christiaan Nicolaas Everhardus de Moor and Myriam/Miriam Iswara Bozzelli). Guido was born in The Hague. Lorenzo’s great-grandfather Christiaan de Moor was a painter, and was born in Rotterdam, Zuid-Holland, the son of Anthonij/Anthony Johannes Christiaan de Moor and Elize Gijsbertha/Gijsbertha Charlotte Janssen. His uncle was painter Pieter Cornelis de Moor. Lorenzo’s great-grandmother Myriam Iswara Bozzelli was an Italian singer, the daughter of Edoardo Bozzelli and Luigia Rizzardi.
Lorenzo’s paternal grandmother was actress Trins Snijders (Catharina Maria Martina Snijders, the daughter of Henricus Jacobus Joannes “Henk” Snijders and Martina/Marina Maria “Tine” Veenhof). Trins was born in Amsterdam, Noord-Holland. Henricus was born in Amsterdam, the son of Johannes Willebrondus Snijders and Catharina Antonia van der Linden. Lorenzo’s great-grandmother Martina was born in Amsterdam, the daughter of Cornelis Veenhof and Martina Pauw.
