Lorenzo Music was an American actor, composer, musician, performer, writer, and producer. He was known for his voice work as Garfield on the show Garfield & Friends , and Peter Venkman on the first two seasons of the show The Real Ghostbusters . He was also known as L. Music.
He was the son of Sophie (Nessell) and Harry Music, who worked in the shipyards. His paternal grandparents were Jewish emigrants from the Austro-Hungarian Empire. His mother was a Russian Jewish immigrant. He was mostly raised in Duluth, Minnesota.
Lorenzo was married to composer and writer Henrietta Music, until his death, with whom he had four children. His son Fernando was married to chef, cookbook author, and YouTube personality Carla Lalli Music.
