Ludwig Göransson is a Swedish composer, conductor, musician, songwriter, and record producer. He has thrice won the Academy Award for Best Original Score/Best Score, for Black Panther (2018), Oppenheimer (2023), and Sinners (2025). He has composed the fanfares for the Warner Bros. Pictures and Star Wars brand logos, and for many Hollywood films, also including Fruitvale Station , Creed , Venom (2018), Creed II , Tenet , Turning Red , and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever ; as well as for the series Community , New Girl , The Mandalorian , and The Book of Boba Fett . He has produced for Childish Gambino, Adele, Alicia Keys, Rihanna, and many other top stars.

Ludwig’s father, Tomas, is Swedish, and a guitar teacher. His mother, Maria, is originally Polish, from Warsaw, and is a florist. He is married to American violinist Serena McKinney, with whom he has two children. Ludwig is named after composer Ludwig van Beethoven.
