M. Shadows is an American singer and songwriter. He is the lead vocalist, and a founding member, of heavy metal band Avenged Sevenfold. Other members of the band also include/have included Johnny Christ , Synyster Gates , Arin Ilejay , The Rev , and Zacky Vengeance .
He is the brother of college and professional basketball player Amy Sanders . M. Shadows is married to Valary DiBenedetto, with whom he has two children. Valary’s sister, Michelle, is married to his bandmate Synyster Gates.
