Mama June is the daughter of Sandra and Marvin Tilford Shannon. Her father was born in Boyle County, Kentucky. Her mother was born in Illinois. Mama June is married to Justin Stroud. She has four children, including Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson, the latter with Mike Thompson; Honey Boo Boo is herself a leading reality television fixture.
