Mario Lanza was an American tenor and actor.
He was the son of Italian parents, Maria (Lanza), from Tocco da Casauria, Province of Pescara, Abruzzo, and Antonio Cocozza, from Filignano, Province of Isernia, Molise. Mario was married to Betty Hicks, until his death, with whom he had four children.
