Marisa Coughlan is an American actress and writer. Her roles include the films Teaching Mrs. Tingle , Gossip (2000), Super Troopers , and its sequel; Freddy Got Fingered , Pumpkin (2002), I Love Your Work , Meet Bill , Already Dead , Space Station 76 , and Infamous (2020); the shows Wasteland , Boston Legal , Side Order of Life , and Bones ; and the made-for-tv movie Our Son, the Matchmaker .
She is married to Stephen Wallack, with whom she has four children.
Marisa’s paternal grandfather was Thomas Patrick Coughlan (the son of Thomas Merritt Coughlan and Katherine Leona O’Callaghan). Marisa’s grandfather Thomas was born in Mankato, Minnesota. Marisa’s paternal grandmother was Helen Elizabeth Moore (the daughter of Frank/Francis Joseph Moore and Aquinetta/Aguenetta Leary). Helen was born in Minnesota. Frank was born in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, the son of Samuel William Moore and Amy Jane Vanderburg, who was born in Meaford, Grey, Ontario, Canada. Aquinetta was born in Sleepy Eye, Minnesota, the daughter of James Bernard Leary and Ella Helen Brady, who were the children of Irish immigrants, with Ella’s father being from County Cavan.
