Marjorie Taylor Greene is an American politician, businessperson, and conspiracy theorist. A Republican, she was a Member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Georgia, from January 3, 2021 to January 5, 2026. She is also known as Marjorie Greene and MTG.
She has three children with her former husband Perry Greene. The couple ran the construction company founded by her father Robert Taylor.
She was raised Catholic. She is now an Evangelical Christian.
Marjorie’s paternal grandfather was Michael Kenneth Taylor (the son of William David Taylor and Marie/Mary Jeanne Minnie Turcotte/Turguot). Michael was born in River Rouge, Wayne, Michigan. William was born in Michigan, to Canadian parents, David Taylor and Celinda Myers/Meyers.
