Mark Heyman is an American screenwriter and director. He has co-written the films Black Swan (2010), The Skeleton Twins , and The Boogeyman (2023). He created, wrote for, and directed episodes of, the show Strange Angel .

Mark’s paternal grandfather was Marvin/Maurice Heyman (the son of Louis Heyman and Ann D. Noel). Marvin was born in Virginia. Louis was born in Russia. Ann was born in Virginia, to parents from Russia, Marcus Noel and Sarah.

Mark’s paternal grandmother was Anne “Annie” Morgan (the daughter of Phillip Morgan and Sarah Mortkovitz). Anne was born in Virginia, to parents from Poland.
