Marta Kristen is a Norwegian-born American actress. She starred as Judy Robinson on the show Lost in Space . She is also known for her roles in the films Beach Blanket Bingo , Terminal Island , Battle Beyond the Stars , and Below Utopia , and on the shows My Three Sons and Alfred Hitchcock Presents .
Marta was born in Oslo, to a Finnish mother, Helmi Rusanen, and a German soldier father who was killed during WWII. She spent her early years in an orphanage in Norway, and was adopted in 1949 by a couple from Detroit, Michigan, Bertha and Harold Oliver Soderquist, a professor of education. They renamed her Martha Annalise Soderquist. She moved to Los Angeles, California, in 1959, during her teen years. She was married to Kevin P. Kane, until his death. She has a daughter with her former husband, psychologist Terry Treadwell.
