Mary Frann was an American actress. Her roles included the shows The Wild Wild West , My Friend Tony , Return to Peyton Place , Days of Our Lives , The Rockford Files , WKRP in Cincinnati , King’s Crossing , Newhart , and Hotel ; the mini-series Lucky/Chances ; the films Nashville Rebel and Fatal Charm ; and the made-for-tv movies Gidget’s Summer Reunion , Eight Is Enough: A Family Reunion , Dance ’til Dawn , and I’m Dangerous Tonight . She was also known as Jennifer Douglas and Mary Fran.
She was the daughter of Adele Katherine and Harry Joseph Luecke. Mary was voted Missouri’s “Junior Miss” at eighteen.
Mary’s paternal grandfather was Harry Joseph Luecke (the son of Maj. Joseph Franz Luecke and Mary Whittler). Harry was born in Missouri, to German parents. Maj. Joseph was from Höxter, North Rhine-Westphalia. Mary’s great-grandmother Mary was from Westphalia, the daughter of Heinrich Witteler and Gertrud Kleinschmidt.
