Masahiro Tanaka is a Japanese professional baseball player. A pitcher, he plays for the Yomiuri Giants of Nippon Professional Baseball’s Central League. He was peviously with the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles and the New York Yankees of Major League Baseball (MLB).
Tanaka is the son of Kazumi and Hiroshi Tanaka. He is married to model, talent, and idol singer Mai Satoda, of Hello! Project group Country Musume; with whom he has a son.
