His father is television journalist Mike Taibbi. Matt’s mother’s family is from County Limerick, Ireland. Matt is married to family physician Jeanne, with whom he has three children.
Matt’s biological paternal grandfather possibly had the surname Denny.
Matt’s biological paternal grandmother was Camila Salinas (the daughter of Moises Salinas and Marciana Rabor/Ramos). Camila was born in Hawaii.
