Matthew Lewis is a British actor. He starred as Neville Longbottom in the films Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone , Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets , Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban , Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire , Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix , Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince , Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1 , and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 , and in the theme park attraction Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey . His roles also include the films The Rise (2012), Me Before You , Terminal (2018), and Baby Done ; the made-for-tv movie Some Kind of Life ; and the shows The Syndicate , Bluestone 42 , Ripper Street , Happy Valley , Girlfriends , Nutritiously Nicola! , All Creatures Great and Small , Avoidance , and Murder Before Evensong .
He is the brother of film editor Chris Lewis and actor Anthony Lewis. He was raised in Horsforth. Matthew is married to Angela Jones.
