Matthew Settle is an American actor. Matthew is the son of Joan and The Rev. Robert Settle, a Baptist minister. He has a daughter with his former wife, Israeli Jewish actress and model Naama Nativ.
Matthew’s paternal grandfather was George Jarvis Settle (the son of Walter J. Watt Settle and Martha Jane Hutchinson). George was born in Tennessee. Walter was the son of Henry Perry Settle and Mary Jane Silcox. Martha was the daughter of William Hutcheson and Elizabeth McCoy.
Matthew’s paternal grandmother was Alice Vandalee Gray (the daughter of Jasper Garret Gray and Orlina/Orlena/Arlene Loy). Alice was born in Tennessee. Jasper was the son of Isaac Marion Gray and Sarah Jennie Miller. Orlina was the daughter of Sampson Loy and Martha Flatford.
