Matthew Weiner is an American writer, screenwriter, director, and producer. He is the creator and showrunner of Mad Men , as well as The Romanoffs . He also worked on the show The Sopranos .
Matthew is the son of Judith (Hoffman) and Leslie Philip Weiner. He was raised mostly in Los Angeles, California. He is married to architect Linda Brettler, with whom he has four children, including actor Marten Holden Weiner.
