Maureen McCormick is an American actress, singer, and author. Maureen is the daughter of Irene and Richard McCormick. She is married to Michael Cummings, with whom she has a daughter.
Maureen’s paternal grandfather was John Joseph McCormick (the son of John W. McCormick amd Annie C. Gallagher). Maureen’s grandfather John was born in Pennsylvania. Maureen’s great-grandfather John was born in Pennsylvania, to Irish parents. Annie was born in Pennsylvania, and also had Irish heritage.
Maureen’s paternal grandmother was Amelia Josephine McNamara (the daughter of Frank McNamara and Amelia Bruening). Maureen’s grandmother Amelia was born in New York. Frank was born in Massachusetts, to Irish parents. Maureen’s great-grandmother Amelia was the daughter of German emigrants, from Hanover, Lower Saxony, Christian Conrad Friedrich Brüning, from Brokeloh; and Louise Caroline Sophia Hartmann, from Husum.
Maureen’s maternal grandfather was Theodore Xavier Beckman (the son of John Theodore Beckman and Julia Anna Walz). Maureen’s grandfather Theodore was born in Dodgeville, Iowa. John was the son of German emigrants, Johann Theodor Beckman, from Hervest, Westphalia; and Maria Bernadina Niemann, from Oldenburg. Maureen’s great-grandmother Julia was the daughter of Dionysius Walz and Karoline Herrmann, who were also German, from Kuppenheim, Baden.
Maureen’s maternal grandmother was Helen Christine Fischer (the daughter of Ludwig Henry “Louis” Fischer and Mary Wilbert). Helen was born in Burlington, Iowa, to German parents.
