Maxwell Jacob Friedman is an American professional wrestler and actor. He performs with All Elite Wrestling (AEW). He was an AEW World Champion, having held the title for the longest time in AEW World history; and has won the AEW Dynamite Diamond Ring for five consecutive years. He was previously on the American independent circuit, including Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW), and with Major League Wrestling (MLW). He has had a voice role in the film Justice League x RWBY: Super Heroes & Huntsmen , and co-starred in the films The Floaters and Happy Gilmore 2 . He is also known as MJF, Maxwell Jacob Feinstein, Pete Lightning, and Sandy Bunker.
He uses Jacob as a stage middle name.
Maxwell is married to Canadian interviewer and YouTube personality Alicia Atout.
Maxwell’s maternal grandfather was named Leonard Weissman.
Maxwell’s maternal grandmother was Bernice Abish (the daughter of Louis Abish and Anna Levine). Bernice was born in New York, to an Austrian Jewish father and a Russian Jewish mother. Anna was the daughter of Lazer Aron Levine and Tsippa Effman.
