Mayra Gómez Kemp was a Cuban and Spanish television host, actress, and singer. She was the host of Un, dos, tres… responda otra vez from 1982 to 1988. She is said to have been the first woman to host a television quiz show.

Mayra was the daughter of actor, producer, and writer Ramiro Gómez Kemp and Velia Martínez (born Velia Martínez Febles), an actress, singer, and nightclub dancer. Her father was Cuban. Her mother was born in Tampa, Florida, U.S., to Cuban parents. Her family moved to Puerto Rico in 1960, and later to Venezuela, before settling Miami, Florida.

Mayra was married to Argentine actor Alberto Berco.

Mayra’s paternal grandfather was surnamed Gómez. He was a colonel of the Spanish army destined to Cuba.

Mayra’s paternal grandmother was named Cacha Kemp.

Mayra’s maternal grandfather was named Cristóbal Martínez. Cristóbal was from Asturias.
