She has starred in the film Dicks: The Musical , and the concert film Megan Thee Stallion: In Her Words ; and hosted reality competition series KPopped . She is also known as Tina Snow, Meg Thee Stallion, Hot Girl Coach, Hot Girl Meg, and Suga. She is 5′10″.
Megan is the daughter of Holly Aleece Thomas, who had rapped under the name “Holly-Wood,” and Joseph Pete, Jr. Megan and her mother lived in South Park, in Houston, and then Pearland, Texas during her childhood.
She repeatedly refers to herself as Creole. In her song “Cocky AF,” she raps, “He heard I’m Creole , he think I know voodoo.” In “Freak Nasty,” she raps, “Versace hottie, uh, Creole mami, huh.” She refers to her Creole heritage again in this Twitter post.
Megan’s paternal grandfather was Joseph Pete/Peat, Jr. (the son of Joe Pete and Alma Sallier). Megan’s grandfather Joseph was born in Opelousas, Louisiana, to parents who were also born in the state. Alma was the daughter of Vilmore Sallier and Francis Smith.
