He has worked on the songs “Tuesday,” “Jumpman,” “Low Life,” “Bad and Boujee,” “Congratulations,” “Tunnel Vision,” “Mask Off,” “Bank Account,” “Heartless,” “Creepin’,” and “Like That.” He has prominently collaborated with Future, Young Thug, The Weeknd, Gunna, Don Toliver, 21 Savage, and Gucci Mane; and has been a member of So Icey Boyz. He is also known as Leland ‘Metro Boomin’ Wayne, Young Metro, Lil Metro, and Metro.
Metro relocated to Atlanta to attend Morehouse College. His mother, Leslie Joanne Wayne, was killed in a murder-suicide by his stepfather in 2022. His father’s name is Lamont.
