Dominador was the son of Mariano Liggayu y Urtiz and María Catral y Aquino. Asuncion was the daughter of Simplicio Sumabat and Ana Purugganan.
Mich’s paternal grandmother is Margaret “Grace” Purugganan Balao (the daughter of Servando Balao and Natividad Purugganan). Margaret is from Tuguegarao, Cagayan.
