Michael Fitzpatrick is a French-American musician, singer, and songwriter. He is the lead vocalist of indie pop and neo soul band Fitz and the Tantrums. He is also known as “FITZ.”
He is the son of Sylvie and Robert Fitzpatrick, an art academic and executive, businessperson, and politician. His father was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and later moved to the U.S. His mother was French. Michael was raised in Los Angeles, California, U.S. Michael is married to American actress Kaylee DeFer , with whom he has three children.
Michael’s paternal grandfather was John Dennis Meagher Fitzpatrick (the son of Robert Francis Fitzpatrick and Mary Alice Meagher).
