Robert was born in Jackson, Mississippi, and had deep roots in the U.S. Paul was the son of George M. Urie and Eliza Crowell. Mary was the daughter of Robert Weston Moore and Mollie Lee Williams.
Michael’s paternal grandmother was Cynthia Anne Gower (the daughter of Jesse McMurtry “Mack” Gower and Annie Daidy Hart). Cynthia was born in Dallas, Texas, and had deep American roots. Jesse was the son of Hillman Frank Gower and Mary C. Lowe. Annie was the daughter of William Pinkney Hart and Cynthia Ann Brown.
Michael’s maternal grandfather was Lorenzo Thomas Bonazzi (the son of Bernadino “Dino” Bonazzi and Maria “Mary” Tenni). Lorenzo was born in New York City, New York, to Italian parents, from Tirano, Sondrio, Lombardy.
Michael’s maternal grandmother was Frances Theresa Nasso (the daughter of Pasquale “Charles Paul” Attanasio/Nasso and Francesca “Frances” Santarpia). Michael’s grandmother Frances was born in Long Island, New York City, to Italian parents, from Campania. Pasquale was from Nocera Superiore, Salerno, the son of Vincenzo Attanasio and Virsanza d’Auria. Michael’s great-grandmother Francesca was from Gragnano, Naples, the daughter of Alfonso Santarpia and Maria Iaccarino.
