Michael Weatherly is an American actor, producer, director, and musician. His roles include the series Loving , The City , Significant Others , Jesse , Dark Angel , JAG , NCIS , Bull , which he also directed episodes of; and NCIS: Tony & Ziva ; the made-for-tv movies Pier 66 , Asteroid (1997), Cabin by the Lake , and The Mystery of Natalie Wood ; and the films Meet Wally Sparks , The Last Days of Disco , Winding Roads , Gun Shy , The Specials (2000), Venus and Mars , and Her Minor Thing .
He is the maternal half-uncle of actress Alexandra Breckenridge ; her mother is his maternal half-sister.
Michael is married to Serbian-Canadian internist Bojana Janković. He has a son with his former wife, actress Amelia Heinle ; and two children with Bojana.
Michael’s paternal grandfather was Robert Stone Weatherly (the son of William Henry Weatherly and Alice Baker Stone). Robert was born in Anniston, Calhoun, Alabama. William was born in Madison, Arkansas, the son of John James Weatherly and Margaret Smyth, who was Irish. Michael’s great-grandmother Alice was born in Talladega, Alabama, the daughter of Henry Clay Stone and Sallie Watters Baker.
