Mickey Hargitay was a Hungarian-American actor and acrobat. He was Mr. Universe 1955.
He was born in Budapest, Hungary, the son of Mária (Róth Fischer) and Ferenc Hargitai. He moved to the U.S. in 1947. Mickey was married to Ellen Siano, until his death. He had a daughter with his former wife, acrobat Mary Birge; and three children with his former wife, actress, nightclub entertainer, and singer Jayne Mansfield . One of his children with Jayne is actress Mariska Hargitay , legally. In 2025, Mariska was revealed as not being Mickey’s biological daughter.
