Mickey Sumner is an English actress. She is the daughter of actress, film producer, director, environmental activist, and socialite Trudie Styler and musician, singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, actor, activist, and philanthropist Sting (born Gordon Matthew Thomas Sumner). She is the sister of musician, electronic music producer, and actress Eliot Sumner and half-sister of musician Joe Sumner.
Mickey has a son with her former husband Chris Kantrowitz.
Mickey’s paternal grandfather was Ernest Matthew Sumner (the son of Thomas Matthew Kirk Sumner and Agnes Wright). Ernest was born in Sunderland, Durham. Thomas was born in South Shields, Durham, the son of Richard Kellett/Kellet Halfnight Sumner and Annie Fowler Brown. Mickey’s great-grandmother Agnes was born in Sunderland, the daughter of Robert Henry Wright and Agnes Murphy, whose father was Irish, from Iniskeen, County Monaghan; and whose maternal grandfather was also Irish.
