Molly’s paternal grandfather was Edward Sheridan Kunz (the son of Edward Julius Henry Kunz and Julia Ruth Brady). Molly’s grandfather Edward was born in Wesley, Iowa. Molly’s great-grandfather Edward was the son of Edward Julius Kunz, who was a German emigrant, from Rüdersdorf, Brandenburg; and of Ann Scheberle, who was from Oberjohnsdorf, Bohemia, and was likely of Sudeten German descent. Molly’s great-grandmother Julia was the daughter of Edward J. Brady and Delia Hannah Mooney, who were born in Illinois, both of them to Irish parents.
Molly’s paternal grandmother was Jeanne Annette Létourneau (the daughter of Armand Létourneau and Eva Roy). Jeanne was born in Milford, Massachusetts, to French-Canadian parents. Harry was the son of Joseph Sebastian Wetzel, whose parents were German, from Hessen; and of Katherine Knapp, who was also German, from Württemberg. Molly’s great-grandmother Geraldine was the daughter of Gerald Howard Welch and Mary Ellen O’Neill, who were born in Iowa, both of them to Irish immigrants.
