Moses Malone was an American professional basketball player. A center, he played for the Utah Stars, the Spirits of St. Louis, the Buffalo Braves, the Houston Rockets, the Philadelphia 76ers, the Washington Bullets, the Atlanta Hawks, the Milwaukee Bucks, and the San Antonio Spurs of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was assistant coach for the Philadelphia 76ers. He was nicknamed “Chairman of the Boards.” He was 6′10″.
Moses was the son of Mary Ellen Elizabeth (Hudgins) and Moses Eugene Malone. He had two children with his former wife Alfreda Gill; and a son with his partner Leah Nash.
