She is the daughter of Maxene and Elliot Imbruglia. Her father was from Lipari, an island in the north of Sicily, Italy. Her mother’s ancestry includes English, as well as Irish, Northern Irish, Scottish, Cornish, and Welsh. Her sister is singer and songwriter Laura Imbruglia. Natalie has a son.
She has stated that she is proud of her Italian heritage and enjoys visiting Italy. However, she does not speak Italian.
