Nena is a German singer, songwriter, actress, and comedian. She is known for the hit song “99 Luftballons,” from her band, also called Nena, which they remade into the English version “99 Red Balloons.”
Nena is the daughter of Ursula Griebner and Alfons Kerner. She has had three children with her former partner, Swiss actor Benedict Freitag; and two children with her partner, drummer and music producer Philipp Palm.
