Nicholas Alexander Chavez is an American actor. He has starred on television’s General Hospital , Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story , and Grotesquerie , and in the film Crushed (2022).
He was partly raised in Sugar Land, Texas, and Denver and Arvada, in Colorado. His father’s family is from Los Alamos, New Mexico.
Nicholas’s paternal grandfather was Nicholas “Nick” Chavez (the son of Andrew “Andy” Chavez and Virginia K. Duran). Nicholas was born in Louisville, Colorado, and was of Mexican descent, with deep roots in New Mexico. Andrew was born in Colorado, the son of Isaac J. Chavez and Floripa/Flora Sandoval, who were from New Mexico. Nicholas’s great-grandmother Virginia was born in Louisville, Colorado, the daughter of Jose “Joseph”/Joe Eligio Duran and Marilliata/Mary Apodaca, who were also from Colorado.
Nicholas’s paternal grandmother was Betty Jean Riddle (the daughter of Lenn Ellsworth Riddle and Irene Hirsch). Lenn was born in Kit Carson, Colorado, the son of Royal Cleveland Riddle and Mary May Barnes, and had deep roots in the U.S. Nicholas’s great-grandmother Irene was born in Isabel, Dewey, South Dakota, the daughter of Charles Philip Hirsch and Barbara Fisher, who were Volga German emigrants, from the Russian Empire.
