Nicky Byrne is an Irish singer, songwriter, radio presenter, dancer, television presenter, and professional footballer. A goalkeeper, he played for Shelbourne, Cobh Ramblers, and St. Francis, and Republic of Ireland youth national teams. He is a member of pop band Westlife, which also included Brian McFadden . He represented Ireland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2016.
He is the son of Yvonne and Nicholas Byrne. He is married to Georgina Ahern, with whom he has three children. Georgina is the daughter of Taoiseach Bertie Ahern .
