Nikola Jokić is a Serbian professional basketball player. A center, he plays for the Denver Nuggets of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He has also played with Mega Basket and the Serbian national team. He was the 2020–21, 2021–22, and 2023–24 regular season MVP, and is a seven-time NBA All-Star. He is nicknamed “Joker.” He is 6′11″.
Nikola is the son of Branislav Jokić, an agricultural engineer. His brothers, Strahinja and Nemanja, have also played basketball, with Nemanja doing so professionally in the U.S. Nikola is married to Natalija Mačešić, with whom he has two children. He is a Serbian Orthodox Christian.
