Nikolai Kinski is a French-American actor. Nikolai is the son of model Minhoi Geneviève Loanic and German actor Klaus Kinski (born Klaus Günter Karl Nakszynski). Nikolai’s father was born in Zoppot, Free City of Danzig, now Sopot, Poland, and had German, and some Polish, ancestry. His mother was born in Saigon, Vietnam, and is said to be the daughter of a French father and a Vietnamese mother. He is a half-brother of German actress Pola Kinski and German actress and model Nastassja Kinski . He is an uncle of American model and actress Sonja Kinski and American fashion model Kenya Kinski-Jones .
Nikolai was mostly raised in California, U.S., after 1979.
Nikolai’s paternal grandfather was Bruno Carl Julius Nakszynski, an opera singer and pharmacist (the son of Ferdinand Julius Nakszynski and Anna Clara Schneider). Ferdinand was the son of Ferdinand Nakszynski. Anna was the daughter of Johann Schneider.
Nikolai’s paternal grandmother was named Susanne Eva Lutze, a nurse. Susanne’s father was a pastor.
