Nora Aunor was a Filipino actress, producer, and singer. She was seen as the most-awarded Filipino actress, and was known as “Philippines’ “Superstar.”” Her roles included the films All Over the World , Tatlong Taong Walang Diyos , Minsa’y Isang Gamu-gamo , Ina Ka ng Anak Mo , Bona , Himala , Bulaklak sa City Jail , The Flor Contemplacion Story , Bakit May Kahapon Pa? , Thy Womb , Hustisya , Dementia (2014), and Trap (2015). She was also known as Ate Guy.
Nora was the daughter of Antonia Cabaltera and producer Eustacio Villamayor. Her brother, Eddie Villamayor, was also an actor. Nora had a biological son, actor Ian de Leon; and four adoptive children, including actresses Lotlot de Leon and Matet de Leon, with her former husband, actor and politician Christopher de Leon . Her granddaughter is actress and video blogger Janine Gutierrez, who is Lotlot’s daughter. Her niece was singer, songwriter, host, film actress, music producer, film composer, and label head Marion Aunor.
