Olivia Holt is an American actress and singer. She is known for her roles on the series Kickin’ It , I Didn’t Do It , Penn Zero: Part-Time Hero , The Evermoor Chronicles , as Tandy Bowen/Dagger, in Cloak & Dagger , Spider-Man , and Marvel’s Runaways ; Cruel Summer , and Laid ; in the made-for-tv movie Girl vs. Monster ; and in the films Class Rank , Same Kind of Different as Me , Gnome Alone , Status Update , Trouble (2019), Totally Killer , Heart Eyes , This Is Not a Test , and Jingle Bell Heist .

Olivia’s paternal grandfather was James Samuel Holt (the son of James Benjamin Holt, Jr. and Frances Janet Halford). Olivia’s grandfather James was born in Tennessee, and had deep roots in the U.S. Olivia’s great-grandfather James was the son of James Benjamin Holt and Sarah Louise Gurley. Frances was the daughter of John Samuel Halford and Sadie Wilkes.
Olivia’s paternal grandmother is Patricia Gaye Hastings (the daughter of Archie Mabry Hastings and Alma Olene Brower). Patricia was born in Mississippi, and had deep lines in the U.S. Archie was the son of William Harrison Hastings and Effie Virginia Parish. Alma was the daughter of Palmer Howard Brower and Connie Estelle Adams.
Olivia’s maternal grandfather is Timothy John Peterson (the son of Francis Albert Peterson and Florence Elizabeth Beisch). Timothy was born in Fort Dodge, Iowa. Francis was the son of Albert B. Peterson, whose parents were Swedish emigrants, from Steneby; and of Margaret Lena Shannon, who had partly deep roots in the U.S. Olivia’s great-grandmother Florence was the daughter of Frank Junior Beisch, who was of half Luxembourgish and half German descent; and of Elizabeth Kurtshals, whose parents were German.
Olivia’s maternal grandmother is Karen M. Cook (the daughter of Loren Everett Cook and Evelyn Mae Schroeder). Karen was born in Iowa. Loren was the son of Melvin Aretus Cook and Olive Jenny Winehold. Evelyn was the daughter of Roy Henry Schroeder, whose parents were German; and of Opal Lucille Sansen, whose paternal grandparents were Swedish and whose maternal grandparents were German.
