Onata Aprile is an American actress. Her roles include the films What Maisie Knew , About Scout , and The Last Thing He Wanted , and the show Boardwalk Empire .
She is the daughter of Valentine Aprile, an artist and actress, and David Statler, who has a studio and gallery in West Reading, Pennsylvania. She moved to New York City, New York, at the age of two.
Onata’s paternal grandfather is Alan James Statler (the son of Elmer H. Statler and Mary N. Youngkin). Alan was born in Pennsylvania, and was of German descent. Elmer was the son of Alvin H. Statler and Ellen Susan Funk. Mary was the daughter of Chester Garfield Youngkin and Nellie Amanda Miller.
Onata’s paternal grandmother is Katie Toda (the daughter of Daisuke Toda and Hiroko “Sally” Tsuchiya). Hiroko was born in Yokohama, Japan, the daughter of Kosaburo Tsuchiya and Kuni.
