Oscar Robertson is an American professional basketball player. A point guard, he played for the Cincinnati Royals and the Milwaukee Bucks of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He is nicknamed “the Big O.” He is 6′5″.
Oscar is the son of Mazell and Bailey Robertson. He was mostly raised in Indianapolis, Indiana, in the segregated housing project Lockefield Gardens. He is married to Yvonne, with whom he has three children.
Oscar’s maternal grandfather was Earle Bell (the son of Peter Bell and Mary Purdue).
