Ozzie Smith is an American professional baseball player. A shortstop, he played for the San Diego Padres and the St. Louis Cardinals of Major League Baseball (MLB). He is considered to be one of the greatest defensive shortstops of all time. He is nicknamed “The Wizard.”
Ozzie is the son of Marvella and Clovis Smith. He has three children, including singer and songwriter Nikko Smith, with his former wife Denise.
