Ozzy Osbourne was an English singer, songwriter, actor, and television personality. He rose to fame as the lead singer of rock band Black Sabbath. Other members of the band were Geezer Butler and Tony Iommi .
Ozzy was the son of Lillian (Unitt) and John Thomas Osbourne. He was married to businessperson Sharon Osbourne , until his death. He had three children with his former wife Thelma Riley; and three children with Sharon, the latter including television personality and musician Kelly Osbourne and television personality Jack Osbourne.
Ozzy’s paternal grandfather was Joseph Osbourne (the son of William Osborne and Sarah Harrison). Joseph was born in Birmingham, Warwickshire. William was the son of John Osborne and Martha Broomhead. Sarah was the daughter of James Harrison and Mary Ann Hipkins.
